Custom Design with off the shelf components
For maximum mounting versatility and design flexibility, custom designed products may be fitted into the most demanding and space restrictive applications. They require additional engineering and assembly capability, but their lower initial cost and wider range of sizes makes them an ideal consideration for many applications. Like all Warner Electric packaged clutches and brakes, they never need adjustment, and they are built to the same standards of quality and performance. SF Series – Stationary Field Design
Flange or bearing mounted this design eliminates the need for collector rings and brush holder so is ideal for adverse environments. Mounting tolerances are more critical than for the PC design.
PC Series – Primary Design
Electrical current is carried through brushes and the collector ring to the rotating magnet. The PC design is less expensive than the SF design and the mounting tolerances less critical.
SFC Series – Stationary Field Design
The SFC clutch couplings employ the same basic components as the SF version, except for a splined hub and adaptor. This serves as a coupling for inline shaft applications.
PCC Series – Primary Design Coupling Units
The PCC series clutch couplings employ the same basic components as the PC design except for a splined hub and adaptor which serves as a coupling for inline shaft applications.
